How do I change my mySD Authentication Phone Number?
If you ever have the need to change the authentication phone number for your mySD Account, follow these steps:
- Click on the log in using mySD logo.
- Enter the email address you are signing into and click Continue.
- Enter the password for your mySD account and click Sign in.
- Click on your name in the upper right corner of the screen and then click Profile.
- Click Update in the “Authentication Phone Number” tile.
- Click Send verification code. The verification code is only valid for 20 minutes, after which a new verification code will need to be sent.
- Do not leave the verification page or the code will not work. If checking your email from a browser, open a new browser or tab and navigate to the inbox of the email address you provided and locate the verification code that was sent from donotreply@state.sd.us.
- Enter the verification code on the mySD verification code screen and click Verify Code.
- Once the code had been verified, click Continue.
- Make sure that the “Country Code” is correct. 11.
- Enter your new verification phone number, then click Send Code to verify through text or Call Me to verify through a phone call.
- Enter the verification code that was sent to you through text or call and click Verify Code.
