You can request a certified abstract of a driving record to view traffic convictions, accident dates, and your license status.  Employers, insurance companies, and government agencies may also request records.  Under South Dakota law, only the most recent three years of driving history can be released; however, an individual may request their full driving history.  You cannot view your driving record online.  Driving records must be requested, paid for, then sent to you via US Postal Service or email.
