| Purpose of Funds |
| Provide supplemental funding to nonprofit agencies that serve victims of human trafficking, commercial sexual exploitation, sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse or neglect. Funding may be used to support services such as counseling, emergency and transitional services, crisis line support, case management, facility staffing, training and certification, employment of Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANEs), and services through child advocacy centers. |
| Eligible Applicants |
| Eligible applicants are nonprofit organizations located in South Dakota that provide direct services to victims of human trafficking, commercial sexual exploitation, sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse or neglect; they must not receive full funding from another state agency and must show a need for support to provide services such as emergency and transitional, counseling, crisis line support, case management, and facility staffing needs, and training, certification and employment of Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANEs), and/or services provided through child advocacy centers. |
