Transcripts may NOT be submitted as a pdf or attached to an email

University may:

• Submit electronic transcript directly to certification@state.sd.us
• Mail official/original paper transcripts

Electronic transcripts are accepted directly through Parchment and National Student Clearinghouse. 

• The SD DOE Office of Educator Certification will download a ‘batch’ of transcripts weekly and upload to each existing Educator Profile. Please utilize the view status (https://www.sd.gov/educator) for your application for progress.
• Due to the volume of transcripts received, you may notice a delay in adding it to your record. Thank you for your patience.
