File for Reemployment Assistance with the RA Benefits Portal

File initial Reemployment Assistance benefit claims, make weekly requests for payment, check correspondence, and more through the RA Benefits Portal.

If you need help logging, after you've logged in or have questions:

Go to dlr.sd.gov/ra/individuals/default.aspx. Read through the information on this page, then click on RA Benefits Portal which will take you to the interface.

Above is the portal page you will see anytime you are not logged in. The portal requires you to use or create your login credentials for mySD (the SD Citizen Portal) and set up your profile in the RA Benefits portal before you will be able to file for benefits. The system will walk you through this process.

For first-time users of the RA Benefits portal:

  1. Make sure you have your required documents (see Step 1 on portal page).
  2. Click on SD Account Set Up & Profile registration (see Step 2 on portal page). You will be taken to the sign-in for mySD. For assistance, hit the Login Help link at the top right of the page.
  3. If already you have an account for mySD, sign in
  4. If you do not have an account, enter your email address. On the next screen, click on Sign up now to create an account (Under the Sign in button).
  5. Once you have/if you already have your mySD login, you will then need to complete a profile in the RA Benefits Portal before you can file a claim.
  6. Once your mySD and RA accounts have been connected, you will use your mySD login credentials to login to your RA account.

If you already have a mySD account and have set up your RA Profile, you can click on #3 on the portal homepage to log in.

Refer to the RA Benefits Portal Profile Guide (Profile Setup Quick Start) for how to set up your profile in the RA Benefits Portal.
