Oatmeal is a great option to get more whole grains into your day. Here are a few tips:

  • Try cooking them in milk or broth instead of water for some added nutrients.
  • Make it ahead! Try overnight oats by soaking the oatmeal overnight in milk and top with your favorite fruit in the morning! Enjoy hot or cold.
  • Use oatmeal as a binder for meatloaf or meatballs.
  • Add oatmeal to a smoothie!
